Victorian architect Edward Boardman (1833-1910) had his offices
at Old Bank of England Court, off Queen Street, and obviously
wanted to impress clients. On the outside there was a personalised
terracotta name plate and monogrammed ceramic decoration. Inside, several styles of geometric tiling and tile mosaic distinguished the different areas of the offices. |
