Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood In addition to the mosaic floor, the side walls of the museum each have 13 mosaic panels showing scenes from agriculture (the south wall) and the arts and sciences (north wall). According to the Public Monument and Sculpture Association database, the designs for these were produced by Francis (Frank) Moody and W Wise, and the mosaic work was carried out by "students of the National Art Training School, now the Royal College of Art" and "female students of the South Kensington Museum Mosaic Class ... under the superintendence of S. Cooper of Minton, Hollins & Co." |
