Finally the mosaic becomes just black and white. The fine lines seem like a maze or labyrinth, with paths and dead ends, like the underground corridors of the tube station.

The initials at the foot of this panel are those of Ray Watson, one of a number of people involved in constructing the mosaics to Eduardo Paolozzi's designs.
