Cathedral
The Chapel of St Gregory and St Augustine is the nearest to
the Baptistery and the mosaic work was completed soon after the
cathedral was opened in 1903. It contains a mixture of classical
Byzantine-style mosaics and Victorian-style opus sectile (as
in the lower part of the picture at the foot of this page). There
are details of the opus sectile panels on the next page.
