Tiles in York Minster The octagonal Chapter House of York Minster has wall to wall tiling by Minton and Company, dated from around 1845. The designs echo medieval tiles. In the centre of the room, under a model of the structure of the roof are different sets of tiles, with blue and green colouring and more floral patterns.
