Tiles in Stonegate

Tucked out of sight around knee-level below a bay window of 34 Stonegate is this tile panel. It looks as though the top part was rather clumsily removed when the window was added. The date above the lion's head is 1874, but perhaps the tiles themselves are not that old. Either side of the lion are classical figures, one studying music.
