These plant holders were cast as an experiment in the northern and southern hemispheres of a battered metal globe. The shards were stuck face-down with wallpaper paste, then back-filled with cement grout and mortar mix.

I'm very keen on houseleeks (sempervivums). Maybe it's because they form a living mosaic as they grow and bud.
