This octagonal plaque is 30 cm (12 in) across, and makes use of sections of plate and mug bases to give extra movement to the spiral pattern. It is suspended on galvanized wire, so that the breeze catches it and brings the shards of mirror to life. I've grouted it with mortar stained with powdered cement dye.
