The blue garden - the main terrace
Shimmering in the sun, the blue garden is like a flowing torrent which you hesitate to wade across. In the centre is the fish pond, which has Egyptian river scenes just above the water level.
At the far end, waves break on to a mosaic shore.
Within this landscape there are exquisite details, such as the moth, below, on one of the borders.
