The tiled bus shelter at Kingsand

It looks pretty ordinary from the outside, but this bus shelter on the edge of Kingsand has spectacular floor to ceiling tiling on its three inside walls. Richly coloured and high glazed, the tiles by Sarah McCormack show scenes from local landscape and heritage. There are also tiles made by children from Four Lanes End School. You almost wouldn't mind the bus being late if you could wait for it here.
