Silicone sealant

A flexible and waterproof substance normally used as a sealant for sealing joins around baths, sinks or other plumbing fixtures. It can act as a very effective mosaic adhesive, particularly where both surfaces are not porous, for example when sticking glass to glass. As it is very sticky, it can often secure tesserae to vertical surfaces. It can be clear or opaque, and a white version may be most suitable for glass, if the colour of the sealant will show through.
